Christmas Gift Series #2: Books for the Cat Person

a cat lounges lazily upon a stack of books

As a continuation of my Christmas Gift Series, I thought I'd make another gift list just for my beautiful book-loving followers! Ideally, for those (sometimes) crazy cat people in your lives. Perhaps your friends/family members/you would like some nice books for some cat to sprawl across.

Look, no judgement here. I've been afflicted by the condition since adopting my two little fur-babies, William Catner and Miriam The Queen. The only cure for me has been fawning over cute photos of them and vigorously waving from my car as they watch me leave for work each day.

1. Writers and Their Cats by Alison Nastasi
Famous writers and their feline companions? Adorable.

2. Artists and Their Cats by Alison Nastasi
Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo ... all shared love for the companionship of cats.

3. The French Cat by Rachael Hale
French Cats are just as nonchalant and unaffected as their human counterparts. This book takes us on a journey to gape at the french countryside and it's adorable felines. Ideal for the cat-loving francophile.

4. Shop Cats of New York by Tamar Arslanian with photographs by Andrew Marttila
This is the Cat Version of "Humans of New York". Lots of gorgeous saturated photos of New York's favorite felines at the local haunts. Cats can be seen perched on hotel desks, piles of books, and stoops. (also check out Cats on Catnip by Tamar)

Best of luck! I'm sure they'll love whatever you get for them :)

Happy Gifting!!

xoxo- Erica
